The Pinoys have again been given honor and respect by the international community via Manny Pacquiao's historic victory against Cotto. Indeed, the Filipinos can achieve world-class status in any field. This month, another Pinoy will make the Philippines proud by being a part of the CNN HEROES- Ordinary People Extraordinary Impact.

I have been voting for him multiple times online for the past months and have been asking friends to do the same. Yesterday, I received an email from my Uncle Eddie, who lives in the U.S. He told me that he has been voting for him too and asked me if I personally know Efren. I told him that I don't. Little did I know that I will get the chance to meet the Pinoy Hero face to face.

Pagkatapos nila mag-usap at magpa-picture, talagang kinapalan ko na mukha ko at lumapit sa kanya at sinabing "Sir, pwedeng magpa-picture? Pang- Facebook..." hehehe
